Oyster Festival At Suda

This month is the Oyster Festival and a few weeks ago I was invited {along with a few others} to partake in another review at The Suda Restaurant. Since my last review I’ve dined at the restaurant many a time. There’s always a good vibe there and its always a great place for a bite to eat. As part of the festival I tasted the oyster menu which included four oysters plus three different side sauces to accompany them.

I love the way Suda mixes the fabric of Thai culture into the its design together with a raw industrial look and feel.

If you’re planning on heading down to Suda for the Oyster Festival be sure to try the {Pratad Pu Cha} Suda crab & chicken fire crackers – a great starter with a smooth sweet favoured sauce. For the mains I would certainly go for {Nua Pad Nam Mum Hoy Hed Sod} Tenderloin of beef in oyster sauce with ginger, ‘pak choy’ & fresh mushroom – a thoroughly enjoyable main with a nice, rich oyster sauce. If you’re not completely full by the end of your culinary journey you should definitely try the {Kao Niew I-Tim Ka-Ti} which tastes amazing. A mix of sweet, sticky rice teamed with homemade coconut ice-cream with condiments. A great treat to round off your meal! The Oyster Festival is on till 30 November.
