Listen up gentlemen there’s a new personal shopping suite in town!
25 May saw the launch of Topman’s brand new personal shopping suite and service at the flagship store in London Oxford Circus. I popped down to have a guided tour by no other than Topman’s Personal Shopping Assistant Manager – Giles Farnham.
Guys – the space is great! The concept is based on that true British gentleman’s club style with a well-groomed modern twist. Topman enlisted the creative mind of Interior and Product Designer Lee Broom
to work his magic on the space.
Clients who use the service can use it as a hangout, a place where they can relax, listen to an array of music and crack open a beer whilst one of the five shoppers, assists you with your style queries.
As you walk into the suite a host will greet you and check you in. You can then sit back, relax on the comfy half moon blue velvet sofas whilst watching TV or listen to music through the amazing flat screen. If that’s not enough why not have a go on the X-Box Kinect console.
The suite also boast an ‘Asahi Honesty Bar’ for refreshments. The Asahi brand will also be hosting special events at the suite making it a fun, multi-purpose space. There is also a mini gallery within the space courtesy of Scream and Whisper galleries. Currently on show are works from artist Bruce French. This space is not just a personal shopping suite but is versatile to be used as an events suite – hosting game nights, game pre-releases and exclusive events.
The suite as a complementary shopping service offers three categories: Express, Edit and Experience.
- Express (30mins): If you’re looking for a quick fix for a wardrobe dilemma.
- Edit (1h): If you’re out of season and just want to get back on track with your wardrobe.
- Express (2hrs): If you’ve been stuck in a fashion rut and need a complete fashion overhaul.
If you don’t fit into any of those categories, don’t panic as they will be more than happy to accommodate you.
Interior wise this space gets the House of Paul thumbs up! I love the smooth choice of blue and beige tones. The textures work well together with the cleaver use of lighting.
